EDIT: AUG 31st 2008, I had to watermark it since I found it all over the web without my permission :[
It was a pretty hard task to get these images (nope, just showing off a little), since my equipment is REEEEALLY ... low-tech. But hey: Necessity is the mother of invention, isn't it? Enough said - enjoy!
Things involved: milk, water, a big jar, Canon Powershot A95 + macro converter lens, 2x 500 W halogen lamps, black board and PS of course
milk was dripped into water with a pipette. while the milk was decending in the water, a series of shots were taken. The background is darkened with a piece of simple black board.
NIce Capture, i got a question, i havea Canon Powershot aswell, i have the CANON POWERSHOT A510, is that a good camera ???? lemm eknow, i love this image, i wish i could capture smoke like this!!!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The crown is what evolves out of a smoke ring. The image is actually upside down
