EDIT 1/25/08: `LuneBleu wrote are good article about Photoshop Actions and how to install them. Check it out!
I just finished a new Photoshop action which creates the look of a overexposured lithprint. Sample
This time I inserted a part were a rough texture ist created as well. This means the action runs best with 800 x 600. But the resize is not mandatory. You'll have the option to choose a different size or cancel this step completely. But keep in mind, the bigger the photo, the more the generated texture will look tiled. In the package there's also an action without the whole resize/texture hocuspocus!
An optional treatment would be to oversharpen the photo at the end. Therefore flatten the image and use Unsharp Mask with a setting about Strength 160, Radius 40, Threshold 0
PS: This action should run on any language this time ;] EDIT: Oct/18th/2006 - Thanks to the feedback of =Offering I fixed some language issues. I forgot to insert some rename-steps so that errors occured telling you PS was unable to find the layer "shadows 1 Kopie" etc.
We just featured your Photoshop Action/Set in a article titled "50 Free Photoshop Actions: 2" on our site Digital Ink Magazine" Keep up the great work and we will keep featuring them" To view the Article view here Article Link: [link]
