winter residue by rawimage winter residue by rawimage
I  foggy days of frost!

Intended to make this look like a lith print. Don't have the chemicals nor the paper nor the experience, so photoshop had to be the tool :]

Stunning. Looks post-apocalyptic to me, definitely more than a hint of fallout to me with the colours chosen.

Wonderful combination of colours and textures.

The atmosphere you've created here is truly something to be proud of. I don't know what it is about this piece .... Its just magical, :) the colours merge so well, the contrasts are great, plus, the textures and perspective and fog, which partly covers the viewers eye, adds to the mysteriousness and beauty here.

I love the old feel to this too. It looks like an old postcard. Wonderful :D

That day was a wonderful day with such a dense atmosphere. I think of all weather conditions I like fog the most. And that particular day was special, because the cloudlayer was thin so the sun came through here and there and plunged everything into warm light - you know - that yellow thunderstorm light...

Thanks again for your lovely comment

I can definately see the lithographic influence. It has a beautiful atmosphereic quality, reminds me a little of Turner's work.

He's an English painter from the late 1700's, known for the atmospheric/light quality to his work.
